1. When Did you first begin attending Clifton?  Why did you stay?  The first week of July 2011.  The first thing I really love the family feel of the congregation, and a great staff to work with in furthering God's work in the Clifton community.  I feel good things here.

2. What or who inspires you? Ordinary people doing extra things! God using people society deems unworthy.

3. What's your idea of a perfect day? Family healthy and together.. with nothing to do but play and enjoy each others company, preferably on a beach.

4. What do you think makes a good leader, someone that you'll follow? A person who instills confidence in others to do their best and who listens to everyone's ideals in achieving the goal put before them.

5. What has God been teaching you lately? Patience and opening my eyes to ways in reaching out to others. Did I mention patience.

6. If you could be on a reality TV show, what would it be? Wow... Man Vs. Wild

7. What is Your favorite...

  • Bible verse? 1 Corinthians 13:13 " and now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love"  Verses 1-13 are such favorites, very comforting
  • Time of day? Sunrise
  • Movie? That's tough.. I love movies! There's a few I have to watch wherever they come on the TV.  The Natural, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, any Star Wars movie.
  • Book (besides the Bible)?  I still have a fondness for Tolken books.
  • Sport/Team? When I was a kid, it was Indiana University, mainly because of my older brothers... Now, I just like to watch a good game of basketball, whoever it is.
  • Vacation Place? Gulf Shores is amazing, but Alaska is one place I really would love to see again.
  • Restaurant? Vincenzo's , downtown is my favorite Louisville spot.  But then again, I love the little no frills places.  It's not when you find one that is just about good, comfort food and not decor.

8. Describe your job at Clifton, and why you love what you do. I head up the Worship Department, what's played, who's playing that week and how I can incorporate other media aspects into the service.  I love that I am able to use my musical abilities to glorify God!  I know that's why I was given them.  The chance to help others feel and share in the joy of praising our Lord is an amazing opportunity for me.

9. How long have you been at Clifton? Since August of 2011.

10. What was your first job? My first job was feeding and milking cows on the farm.  Along with gathering the eggs and feeding the chickens.  I was about 5 or 6 when this became my morning/evening job.  I think my first off - the - farm job was playing for a street festival when i was about 15 years old.

11. Describe your family. (including pets)  I have a wonderful family!  My wife Tars, is an R.N. at Kosair's N.I.C.U.
