Reda Logsdon:

 

1. When did you first begin attending Clifton?  July, 1972 

    Why did you stay? I stayed because this is where my husband had attended his entire life, where

    we were married and raised our daughter. It was the first church I had ever attended.

 

2. What or who inspires you? Seeing God’s glory around me in sunsets, flowers and  nature in general inspires me.

 

3. What's your idea of a perfect day? My perfect day would include the lake and fishing.

 

4.What do you think makes a good leader, someone that you'll follow? Someone that encourages you to do the best that you can. That does not demand that you do things their ways, that’s listens to your point of views and is open to suggestions other than theirs.

 

5. What has God been teaching you lately? To sit quietly and listen for Him.

 

6.If you could be on a reality TV show, what would it be? Amazing Race!

 

7.What is your favorite...

  • Bible verse? Philippians 4:13 (I can so all things through Him, who gives me strength)

  • Time of day?  Early Morning when it’s quiet!

  • Movie? Gone With the Wind

  • Book (besides the Bible)?  Follow The River by James Alexander Thorn

  • Sport/Team?  Not a sports fan at all

  • Vacation place? Any place there is water

  • Restaurant? O’Charly’s

 

8.Describe your job at Clifton, and why you love what you do. Administrative assistant. I love  the people I work with and feeling needed. I love seeing new faces walk through the doors.  I love the fact that Phillip challenges' me to step out of my comfort zone and  learn new things, to  face my fears of talking and praying in public.

 

9.How long have you been working at Clifton? 13 years

 

10. What was your first job? I was a waitress in a mom and pop restaurant.

 

11.Describe your family. (including pets)

  • Robert, my husband of 38 years. He is one of the most Godly men I know. He is the one I credit leading me to Christ.  I will be forever grateful to Him for that.

  • Shannon, my beautiful daughter, she is such a good mom, I could not be any more proud of her.

  • David, my son-law, A good and loving father, he adores my daughter.  They actually met at Clifton when she was 10 and he was 12.  They have been married for 18 years now.

  • Zachary, my grandson and light of my life. He is such a good and kind young man. I am so proud of him. I feel the same rush of love for him every time I look at him as the day I felt it when he was born.
